Binni Yanga Government Women’s College, Poma, Itanagar, the first Women institute of Higher Education in the state of Arunachal Pradesh began its educational pursuit from academic session 2014-15. Nestled in the lush green, picturesque valley of Poma, the college offers a serene campus just 14 km from the capital City of Itanagar. The College presently offers B.A. course in seven subjects which include Economics, Education, English, Geography, Hindi, History and Political Science. The college is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University, Rono Hills, Doimukh, Arunachal Pradesh. The college has qualified Faculty members and other dedicated staffs to guide the students in the pursuit of academic excellence.College’s first hostel, “Poma Halls of Residence” with capacity of 70 seats will start functioning from this academic session 2026-27.
