Binni Yanga Government Women’s College, Lekhi, Naharlagun, the first Women institute of Higher Education in the state of Arunachal Pradesh began its educational pursuit from academic session 2014-15. The college is established in a temporary site at Urban Development Building Lekhi Village, Naharlagun (NH-415, 2Km from Nirjuli) under capital administrative centre.

The College presently offers B.A. course in seven subjects which include Economics, Education, English, Geography, Hindi, History and Political Science. The college is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University, Rono Hills, Doimukh, Arunachal Pradesh. The college has qualified Faculty members and other dedicated staffs to guide the Students in the pursuit of academic excellence.
