ADMISSION PROCEDURE

ADMISSION TO B.A. 1ST SEMESTER:

  • i. Admission to first semester will be done purely on the basis of CUET score secured by the candidate.
  • ii. The applicant seeking admission in B.A. 1st Semester must have passed AISSCE (10+2) or any equivalent examination from a recognized board.
  • iii. The applicant must have passed ENGLISH as one of the core subjects in class XII.
  • iv. In view of limited seats first preference will be given to fresh candidates those who have passed class XII in 2024 for admission.
  • v. The candidate has to fill up admission form online and download the same and the hard copy along with supporting documents and processing fees of Rs. 300/- should be submitted within the time period in the Academic branch of the college
  • Note: No Application shall be entertained after the last date of submission.

    7 Date of admission with late fee 1st to 5th August 2024. 10 am to 2.00 pm
    8 Commencement of classes 7 August 2024. As per Routine

    DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR ADMISSION:

  • i. Class X passed certificate: Two self-attested photocopies.
  • ii. Class XII Board/Council passed mark sheet: Two self-attested photocopies.
  • iii. School Leaving Certificate from the institution last attended: Two self-attested photocopies.
  • iv. 3(Three) copies of recent proper passport size color (from same copy) photographs strictly in white dress and one stamp size color (from same copy) photo for Identity card. (No attestation is required. Name and class to which admission is sought is to be written on the back of the photos).
  • v. Recently issued ST/SC/OBC certificate (only for ST/SC/OBC candidate): One self-attested photocopy.
  • vi. Migration certificate (Non CBSE): One self-attested photocopy.
  • vii. One self-attested photocopy of PWD certificate from medical in case of applicant with physical disability
  • Note: Original documents are to be produced at the time of Admission for verification by the admission committee.
  • 2. PROCEDURE OF SELECTION:

  • i. Admission shall be given against limited seat of 300 or as decided by Government from time to time strictly on merit basis.
  • ii. Out of 300 seats, 60 seats (i.e., 20%) are reserved for students from catchment area i.e. Papum Pare District. Remaining 240 seats (i.e., 80%) are for students from non-catchment areas i.e., open for all.
  • ADMISSION TO B.A. 3rd & 5th SEMESTER

  • i. All those who have passed End semester examination shall be eligible to take admission in the next higher semester.
  • ii. Those students who have passed with back paper in the previous semester shall also be allowed to take admission in next higher semester.
  • Admission Timeline

    Admission without late Fee 23rd to 31st July 2024
    Admission with late Fee 1st to 5th August 2024.
    Commencement of Classes 7 August, 2024.
    IV. Documents required for admission:
  • (a) Two self attested copies of mark sheet of preceding semester.
  • (b) Two recent proper passport size color photograph strictly in college uniform with plain background.
  • (c) One self attested copy of University Registration card.
  • (d) One self attested copy of S.T certificate.
  • Note: (Even if the results of qualifying examinations are not declared on time, the admission process should be completed within the specified dates as mentioned in admission time line.)
