WOMEN’S CELL

The Women’s cell was established in 2016, the function of the cell is to purely safe guard the rights of students, faculty member and staff and also to provide platform for listening to complains. The cell tries to equip them with knowledge of their legal rights and redressal of their grievances. The women’s cell of the college takes up various issues related to the empowerment of women by organizing like seminars, discussion, debates etc. The cell helps the women faculty members, staffs and students to find its true power in everything from the social to psychological and spiritual issues of self discovering.

OBJECTIVES:

  • I. To enhance the self-esteem and self-confidence of women faculty, students and staff in the college.
  • II. To develop critical thinking ability of women, students such that, it enhances decision making ability.
  • III. To enable women to make informed choices in areas like education, employment and health especially reproductive health.
  • IV. To enhance their participation on an equal footing in all areas.
